There is a hairline crack on the exterior surface of one mug

but on her own now

and then a green stem with little red flowers or berries subtly painted across the front

and whenever else I wanted to feel like royalty--so maybe everyday

There is an old repair to a split in one front paw

Folk Art Carved Frame with Hearts, Presumed Pennsylvania craft knife There is a hairline crackCertainly this was made to function as a frame, but I'd be just as inclined to leave it empty and hang it just as it is, so lovely. All carved from one piece of wood, with a wonderful play of curves, angles, and straight lines, and clad in black and red paint, time softened but still strong, with the monogram E. M. F painted in cursive along the bottom edge of the frame. Clearly made with lots of love for a very loved one, with hearts everywhere.
