Description

I quite like the idea of filling a notebook/ledger that began its life in the 19th century

I am not sure the maker of this vintage pottery vase--signed "Handmade in Norway" and numbered on the bottom--but am sure it date to the mid 20th c

This one is is signed and dated (1851 it looks to me

and I've got a particular penchant for folk art paintings featuring fallen trees--here two that read almost like railroad tracks crossing the waterfall on the diagonal

too) over a large open fireplace to cook it

Old Scratch Made Tin Structure with Crackled Paint nuts and bolts I quite like the ideaI love a piece of tabletop architecture made from scratch of tin, and like the minimalist form of this one, perhaps meant to represent a train station. Nice lines and nice interplay of those matte gray painted square windows and the much crackled dark plum paint on the rest. Plus these hand drawn crosses on the rear view windows. 11 7 8" x 5 5 8" x 5 1 4" t and in good structural shape, with crackling to the paint as evident.
